There maybe isn't much point in comparing trauma, but perhaps the content isn't as immediately intense as you could imagine. A lot of the ongoing damage was done internally, and may be hard to convey. That's why Chven will be speaking after each scene to try to illustrate the lasting effects a little bit more.
